Important information about procedures for opening
a new account:
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and
money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial
institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that
identifies each person who opens an account.
What this means for you: When you open an account, we will
ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information
that will allow us to identify you. We may ask to see your
driver’s license or other identifying objects.
We may also use a credit bureau to check the accuracy of the
information that you provide.

What is a Credit Union?
A credit union is a financial cooperative comprised of people who
share a common bond - a desire to help themselves and each other
financially. They share a need to pool their money at a place that's
safe and gives them a fair return, even on modest savings. Through
the credit union, members' needs are met for up-to-date financial
services at reasonable cost.
As a cooperative, credit unions are not-for-profit and democratically
run -each member is an equal owner who helps control the way the
credit union is operated by electing a board of directors from among
themselves. The board sets policy and hires a manager. The directors
serve without monetary compensation.
Credit Unions demonstrate and foster the practicality of concern
and service to their fellow human beings. Credit Unions exist to
help members control their own financial destiny. Credit Unions
are service driven, not profit driven.
Our Philosophy:
"Not for
profit, not for charity, but for service
People helping people!"
